I think this movie is like an old James Bond version that has a 17 year old daughter (named Kim), Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is former government agent. When he was agent, he didn’t have enough quality time with his family and ends up with a divorce, but as a father, everybody knows that we love our family so much.

One day her daughter asks him permission to go to Paris with her friend Amanda, Bryan feels not too comfortable about it. Because of her ex wife, he finally gives the permission. After arriving in Paris, Kim abducted by Albanian human trafficking tycoon, he does everything to get her daughter back, at last happy ending happen when he has succeeded to get her daughter from the hand of a man who “bought” his daughter.

So, this movie is some kind a message for human trafficking, perhaps it could happen to who in this business, end up dead because you accidentally “bought” a daughter of ex super agent like Bryan Mills :)
